Best Man Builder collects the information needed to provide a guided wedding speech writing service. This can include your account email address, authentication identifiers, saved speech projects, project titles, groom and partner names you choose to enter, relationship details, tone preferences, audience notes, topics to avoid, generated drafts, cue card content, credit balance, payment status, support messages, and basic usage information.

You decide what speech and project content to provide. Because wedding speeches can include personal stories about other people, please avoid adding sensitive information unless it is necessary and you are comfortable storing it in your account.

Accounts, authentication, and Supabase

Best Man Builder uses Supabase for account authentication and database services. Supabase may process account identifiers, email addresses, session information, authentication events, and the saved project data required to operate the service.

Authentication cookies or similar technologies may be used to keep you signed in, protect account pages, and maintain session security.

Speech content and AI processing

When you ask Best Man Builder to generate or revise a speech, the details you provide may be sent to AI service providers so a draft can be produced. This can include names, relationship context, stories, tone, audience notes, and topics to avoid.

Generated output is saved to your account when the product needs it for editing, cue cards, and project history. You are responsible for reviewing the generated speech before using it, especially where it mentions other people.

Payments and Stripe

Best Man Builder uses Stripe to process payments for credits. Stripe handles payment card details, checkout, payment confirmation, fraud prevention, receipts, and related payment records. Best Man Builder does not store full card numbers.

We may store payment status, Stripe customer or checkout references, credit purchases, and account credit balances so purchased credits can be applied to the correct signed-in account.

Google Analytics, cookies, and measurement

Best Man Builder uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use public pages and improve the product. Google Analytics may collect pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location, referrers, and interaction events.

The site may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, preferences, and product functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some account features may not work correctly if required cookies are blocked.

How we use information

We use information to create and manage accounts, generate and save speech projects, provide cue cards, process credits and payments, secure the service, respond to support requests, analyse site performance, debug issues, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve public guidance and product flows.

We do not sell your saved speech projects. We do not use your private speech content as public website content without your permission.

Retention and deletion

We keep account, project, payment, and usage records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, support billing records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your account or saved speech projects by contacting support@bestmanbuilder.com. Some payment, security, backup, or legal records may be retained where required or where deletion is not immediately possible from backups.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect account and project data, including authenticated access controls and trusted infrastructure providers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into speech projects.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to data portability or to complain to a regulator.
